MG Quest SMARTS (SM) logo SMARTS^SM^ is an action response (complaint) tracking system designed for municipal governments and owned by DMG Quest, LLC. A lot of time and love went into the SMARTS graphical-user-interface. The GUI showcases an innovative help feature called QuickTips that simultaneously displays every controls tooltip, implements QuickFill for all multi-item displays (combo-boxes and list-boxes), extends the Windows common controls with fonts and colors, organizes using customizable property sheets and property pages, can be completely navigated using the keyboard, and much more. SMARTSSM stores information in any ODBC database and is tested with Microsoft SQL*Windows and Microsoft Access. It includes an integrated mapping module for graphically viewing and pinpointing requests, actions, people, or properties, and overlaying landmarks. SMARTSSM has an extensive import module for normalizing and importing public information such as Tax Appraisal records, utility billing records, postal office codes, and TIGER maps. It has an ATL Server Web Service Web page interface for citizen data entry. And it has a Windows service for managing automatic letter and envelop generation and printing. SMARTSSM has an install program, extensive help, and a licensing feature.
