Frameworks(c) was an innovative solution to decentralize and simplify web and eCommerce development and maintenance for non-technical users owned by DMG Quest, LLC. Frameworks(c) was originally developed as an in-house computer store. It consolidated products, prices, descriptions, specifications, and pictures from three suppliers (Ingram Micro, TechData, and Merisel); maintained cost structures for seven different customer types (government, educational, etc.); creates prices based on price classes using either a cost markup or MSRP markdown; and offers individual customer pricing based on either cost-plus, retail or discounted retail; Frameworks(c) had features that are now readily available in Content Management Systems, such as Drupal used on this website, but at the time this product was created, the ideas were revolutionary. Frameworks(c) grew beyond its original programming. It had a dynamic DHTML menu system and text update features that are managed through a web interface and effect immediate updates.
